2026 Scholarship
This year the Middlesex County Blue Star Mothers CT3 is awarding an $1050 scholarship to a Connecticut high school senior in the spring of 2026. The scholarship will be awarded to a senior who will be going on to a 4 year college and who has a parent (or legal guardian) actively serving in the military or a parent (or legal guardian) who is an honorably discharged Veteran. Military service includes the Army, Marines, Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard, National Guard and Reserves. Applications will be judged on the following criteria and in order of importance: Military Parent, Essay, Community Service, Need and GPA. Award winners will be asked to provide proof of parent’s military service.
The window for submission closes on May 1, 2026. Award to be decided and notification given to the student and school by May 31, 2026.
