We were priviledged to be able to attend the 2026 Veterans Farmers MArket at the CT VA campus in Rocky Hill CT.
The market was a collaboration between Connecticut Veterans Affairs, Connecticut Department of Agriculture, Connecticut Resource Conservation and Development Area, Inc., and VACT Healthcare System with the goal of elevating CT's Veteran-owned farmers, makers, and food-trucks.
It was a great day with really amazing products and people!

The displays were incredible, filled with wonderful foodstuffs and crafts.

We were there, really, LOL!
We enticed folks to come sit awhile and enjoy the breeze from the fans and sign some cards for our troops and veterans.
We were really excited to have a talented artist, Virginia Wilkos Stafford, visit our booth. Virginia is renowned for her incredible artistry hand painting military drums for military bands, schools and fife and drum corps nationwide.
Virginia drew one of her best known drum images on a card to send to one of our deployed troops. Amazing what she can do with a handful of Sharpie pens!

The 102nd CT Army National Guard Band entertained us all.
A fun time!
