Connecticut Trees of Honor Memorial
Every year, our chapter sponsors 65 wreaths for the Connecticut Trees of Honor Memorial located in the Veterans Memorial Park on Walnut Grove Rd in Middletown, CT. This memorial is in honor of 65 Connecticut soldiers who have given their lives for our country in the Afghanistan and Iraq wars. We honor their service.
This is a beautiful, moving place. We invite you to visit, walk the pathway, and read the dedications on the 65 monuments, each placed before a tree planted in a soldier’s honor.
The wreaths are provided by Wreaths Across America. We invite you to sponsor a wreath and we also invite you to come see the Memorial with the wreaths in place on National Wreaths Across America Day, December 19th, 2020 or anytime during the four weeks following.
Sponsoring a wreath is done through the Wreaths Across America website. There are several steps involved, so we have provided detailed instructions here to ensure that your donation is properly credited and applied to the Trees of Honor Memorial. If you sponsor two wreaths, our chapter gets a third wreath free!
